Please join us in celebrating Bengali New Year / বাংলা নববর্ষ (পহেলা/পয়লা বৈশাখ ১৪৩১) on April 13, 2024. The event will start at 4pm with some snacks, adda, followed by a general body meeting (GBM) to discuss BAM finances and future plans. We will have a cultural program / movie night starting at 6pm, followed by delicious dinner. We hope to see all of you with your family and friends.
Location: Madison Church of Christ, 2001 Fish Hatchery Rd, Madison, WI 53713
Event details (April 13, 2024 from 4pm - 10pm):
4:00 - 5:00 pm Snacks (Spicy/Jhalmuri, Veg spring roll, tea, coffee)
5:00 - 6:30 pm GBM
6:30 - 7:30 pm Cultural program
7:45 - 9:00 pm Dinner
9:00 - 10:00pm Cleaning and pack up
(Tentative dinner menu: Veg Biriyani, Alu Bhaja, Mung Daal, Kofta, Echorer dalna (for veg), Chicken curry, Mishti doi, Gulab Jamun!)
Homemade sweets:
Please feel free to bring homemade sweets to share with others.

Ticket price:
Early bird price till April 7, 2024.
On or before April 7:
Adult (Member): $25.00
Adult (Non-member): $30.00
HS Student (Member/Non-member) (8 yrs and older): $15.00
(Kids under the age of 8 years do not need any ticket.)
All ticket prices will go up by $5 on April 8, and we might run out of tickets to sell at the gate. So, please purchase your tickets by April 7, 2024.
